Recording

I aim to record the perfect marimba track for your project, whether it be your own song or background music for commercial radio or television. I own a 5 octave Marimba One and I am professionally trained in playing 4 mallets.

Workflow

Depending on which package you select, you'll send me your song or sheet music and I will record the track. If choosing the premium package there will be unlimited revisions until you are totally satisfied with the work I have done.

What You Get

Marimba recorded to a professional studio standard using stereo Neumann microphones.

You'll get two channels of audio (L&R) - mixed and mastered depending on package.

A one camera video of me playing your song.

Note

Record Keyboards On Your Song

I will listen and learn/analyse your song and come up with the best keyboard part to fit the song.

I usually create my own parts but you can provide me with an existing arrangement that you want me to play or improve. 

Once the recording is done, I will deliver the isolated keyboard track in wav format.

Record Live Acoustic Rock, Garage Or Punk Drums For Your Song

I have been playing drums for almost 30 years, and have been recording all kinds of music for 20 years. I will listen to your music and will create a drum track that fits your song or album. I specialize in rock and punk, but have played lots of country (or alt-country), pop and other styles. 

A few years ago I built a home studio and soundproof room in our house to be able to work on and record my own music. I've got some really great equipment, lots of experience, and I would love to be able to put it to use on your record.  

I can deliver drum tracks as a mixed stereo file, or as individual stems so that you can work them into your mix and apply your own touch. Most projects will be completed in 1-2 days, I have set the standard delivery time for 3 days for a single song for the occasion when work or family commitments cause something to go a little longer.
